Above the Law is a positive status effect in Streets of Rogue. With it, the affected Character can do things which are deemed criminal without hostile consequences from that floor's police, unless done to the cops themselves.
For example, if a cop sees the Player doing something illegal to other cops aligned with them, they will go hostile and attack as normal. Applicable actions would be attacking, stealing, enslaving, pickpocketing, and so forth.

- Supercops cannot be bribed (unless paying off Cop Debt).
- Paying off cop debt via Cops or at an ATM also grants Above the Law.
