Ape Town is a Mutator in Streets of Rogue. This changes all the NPCs' physical appearance to look like a Gorilla, although they can still be distinguished from each other based on their outfit and equipped accessories. For example, Firefighters still wear their usual uniforms, Workers still wear Hard Hats, and so forth.

This is purely cosmetic and has no effect in gameplay.
