Assassination Nation is a Mutator in Streets of Rogue. It causes every level to spawn with 3 to 5 Assassins equipped with a Sword. They are Hostile to the player. Like the playable Assassin character, they also have Camouflage and Backstabber, typically making use of one or both when attacking the player.

Tips and Strategies[]

This can be quite a difficult Mutator since they will camouflage themselves by default. You may suddenly find yourself in point-blank distance of several Assassins, almost immediately swinging their swords. The best approach is usually constant vigilance and a character with high Speed.

If the mutator Many Werewolves is enabled along with Assassination Nation, it's possible for the level to spawn with one or more Werewolf Assassins.
