The Computer is a usable object that controls the security system for a Hideout or similar building. Having the Tech Expert trait will give you more options when you use a computer but having the Computer Illiterate trait will prevent you from using the computer in any way.
Destroying a Computer or disabling it with EMP will unlock all of that building's doors and safes, in addition to disabling all security measures (cameras, trap doors, lasers, etc).
Interactions[]
By interacting with a computer, you can do a variety of things:
- Unlock all safes and doors with the associated building.
- (Tech Expert only) Enable/Disable Security System.
- (Tech Expert only) Operate Crushers and Trapdoors.
- (Tech Expert only) Release Gas from Gas Vents. Can be only done once per computer.
- Poison Nearby Ponds. Can only be done in Park.
- Read Email (But that would be rude.)
- Hack election. Can only be done once on a computer inside "City Hall" (Increases Electability by +2, but requires Tech Expert)
