The Counter is a decorative object but also serves as a barrier in Streets of Rogue. However unlike many objects, you can talk to and interact with NPCs across the other side of the counter. Counters can be destroyed by hitting it with melee strikes, but Projectiles pass through and fly over it.
These objects appear in many buildings and business establishments such as Shops, Bars and in Police Stations.
