After flunking out of architecture school in their second to last semester. The Demolitionist has spent the past few years taking their revenge on every standing structure in sight. The Demolitionist is a playable character and is unlocked by purchasing the Character Pack DLC. Demolitionists wear a purple shirt under a bomb-proof vest.

Special Traits

• Big Bang - Your Remote Bombs cause a larger explosion.
• Bomb Baker - Your Remote Bombs are created at a lower cost.
• Sneaky Bomber - People don't notice Remote Bombs being dropped.

Note: The Demolitionist can only appear when you clone yourself using the Demolitionist.

Tips and Strategies

• How to fight: The Demolitionist can use remote bombs in fights, and most enemies will die from 2 bombs. Be sure to use them in a large group of people for maximum effect.
• Recommended traits: Blaster Master, obviously. Shop Drops will make vendors (including thieves) drop items that you can turn into more bombs. Burning Bullets will allow you to set wooden walls on fire, saving your more important explosives for less flammable walls. Walls' Worst Nightmare is also helpful, but requires you to get into direct combat to knock people through walls.
  • Burning walls also contributes to your big quest.
• Don't bother with using Window Cutters or Lockpicks, make your own entrance!
• Too many items? Turn them into bombs!
• An effective way to handle the Demolitionist's big quest is to not worry about actively seeking out buildings to destroy, and just blow up as much as you can during missions. Playing this way will usually leave you close to your goal when you're ready to leave the floor.
• Focus on setting explosives near generators and trip wires to cause bigger explosions.
• Grenades are a great starting tool if you choose to spend nuggets on items from the Loadout Soldier before starting the game.
  • Other good items for the Demolitionist are the Rocket Launcher, Flamethrower, Time Bombs and the Giantizer for destroying walls and causing damage to complete your big quest.
  • If you get a Sledgehammer, it's recommended to also get Strength Syringes, Muscly Pills and a Bracelet of Strength to break weaker walls, including windows.
