Destroy and Retrieve an Item is a mission in Streets of Rogue which requires the player to destroy an object, which is always a crate, in order to retrieve a quest item.

How to Complete

• It's fairly hard to do this mission without alerting the owners of the house as you are required to destroy an object which makes a lot of noise, as such a more aggressive approach is needed for this mission. The trait Clumsiness Forgiven is very useful for this mission, especially when paired with Promise I'll Return It!.

• If you have a Crowbar, you can quietly open it and retrieve the item, completing the mission without destroying the Crate and not making too much noise. You don't have to destroy to retrieve the item, despite the mission name.
