Durability is a game mechanic in Streets of Rogue. It applies to Melee Weapons and Armor/wearables.
Function[ | ]
The function of durability is to calculate the amount of use of a weapon or armor, each time the weapon is used for its use, the durability decreases, if the durability reaches 0 the object disappears
If you pick up a weapon you already have, the durability of the weapon you picked up will be mixed with the durability of the item you have. But if you grab an armor that you already have, the armor instead of fusing its durability will only be made next to the armor you have equipped.
Modification:[ | ]
There are a few things in the game which can change Durability:
Mutators[ | ]
Items[ | ]
Decreased durability[ | ]
A weapon's durability decreases by:
- 15 every time it hits at least 1 NPC.
- 20 if you destroy a wall with Wall Walloper or if you have enough strength to destroy a wall.
Attacking walls does not affect the duration of a weapon unless you break them.
Instead the armor decreasing for each point of damage you receive (In case of the Bracelet of Strength it decreases when you deal damage points, and the Bulletproof Vest vest only affects by Bullets.)
