EMP (Electro-Magnetic Pulse) is a hazardous object and type of damage in Streets of Rogue that primarily affects electronic devices. It is generally encountered as a pulse or blastwave.

EMP will disable and render unusable most electronics, along with mechanical devices which rely significantly on electronic elements (such as generators and safes). Generally speaking, the same effects to each object hit by EMP can also be achieved by disabling/destroying the nearest Power Box or Computer.

It also causes damage to robots and electronic characters, including the Cop Bot (instant death) and Killer Robot (100 damage, paralysis).
