The EMP Grenade is a Thrown Weapon in Streets of Rogue capable of disabling most electronic devices when set off. Devices such as generators will not be shut down, but will instead explode after a 10-second countdown.
Tips and Strategies[ | ]
- EMP blasts from the EMP Grenade can hit objects through walls as shown from the animated picture, use this to disable cameras and Computers safely or to effortlessly detonate a generator.
- You can try using this on required Generators you have to Destroy in missions or in Power Struggle. Activating a 10-second countdown before exploding allowing you to finish them fast depending on the Building or Hideout's structure.
- Pacifists like the Doctor can use this item to disable electronics such as Alarm Buttons, Laser Emitters and Security Cameras.
- The EMP Grenade can be used against the Killer Robot, dealing 100 damage and temporarily Paralyzing it, however even when Paralyzed, it can still fire Rockets back.
- It takes 10 EMP Grenades to kill the Killer Robot, outside of Extra Health for NPCs and Full Health for All.
- The Robot already has a EMP ability that allows it to disable electronics and also heal it. Also EMP blasts from EMP Grenades can also deal 30 damage to you if you're not careful.
Notes[ | ]
- Unlike Power Sap or the Ghost Gibber, EMP blasts don't damage organic or flesh targets, even while on water or in puddles.
- The Mech suit and Oil Reliant characters are immune and safe from EMP blasts, unlike Electronic characters.
- The Doctor can ironically use it aganist Cop Bots and the Killer Robot to kill them. And it doesn't count as a kill in the Purveyor of Peace Big Quest.
