The Exploding Barrel is a hazardous object in Streets of Rogue found on Industrial floors, the Park and Downtown, appearing randomly outside and inside buildings.

Once their damage threshold is exceeded, a small explosion occurs, dealing 30 damage in a 5-tile diameter.

Tips and Strategies

• Barrels can be used to kill off or deter enemies that are chasing you. Use any projectiles to safely detonate it from afar, timing it so that the enemies are within its area of effect.

• The Toss ability lets you lift these barrels, and can be used as improvised Grenades, damaging barriers and objects that could also provide another way into a building. Barrels will be affected by Blaster Master,meaning you can destroy high density objects and walls, such as Police Boxes and Steel Walls.
