Exploding Bodies is a Mutator in Streets of Rogue that causes all characters (including non-Human NPCs such as robots) and the Player to trigger a small explosion 1.5 seconds after being neutralized. This also causes the corpse to be immediately gibbed.
Explosion Characteristics[]
- It behaves in all the same ways as any other small explosion, in terms of its size, damage dealt, and which objects it damages/destroys. It also is still affected by explosion-related traits such as Blaster Master or Blaster Survivor, and makes the same amount of noise as explosions normally do.
Notes[]
- This mutator's effect applies to all forms of neutralization — death, tranquilization, subduing via Chloroform Hankie, when arrested, and so forth.
Tips and Strategies[]
- This mutator provides an extremely easy way to get the Wanton Destruction reward each level.
- Over the course of the level it generally results in many holes in walls, making access to missions and/or robbing people a whole lot easier.
- The explosion does not occur at all if the NPC or Player was gibbed (since there is then no body to explode).
