Safe       Statistics Object Type: Container Damage Threshold: 100 (does not accumulate) Description Contains a valuable item or mission item. Rewards player with Found Cool Stuff. Must be opened with Safe Combination, Safe-Cracking Tool, or Safe Buster.

Safes are a container and usable object in Streets of Rogue. It is similar to a Chest, except that it's locked and thus requires some method of unlocking before its contents can be accessed.

Contents

• Default:  1 to 3 reward items
• When part of a mission:  0 to 2 reward items

Safes can be accessed via any of the following methods:

Reliable methods

These are ways to unlock the safe that are always possible, no matter its location or that building's particular security measures:

• Safe Combination
• Safe Buster
• Hacking Tool
• Laptop
• Safe-Cracking Tool
• EMP
• Power Sap

Conditional methods

• Computer — buildings often have a safe but not a computer
• Power Box — the power box must be close enough to the building for it to knock out that building's power

Trivia

• Safes are the only Object with a 100 damage threshold to be breakable.

• The only explosive able to exceed its damage threshold is the Time Bomb or an Overclocked Generator, without the use of the Blaster Master Trait
