The Flamethrower is a short-ranged projectile weapon in Streets of Rogue that spews flames, starting fires and igniting patches of oil and being able to burn down most objects and barriers such as wooden walls and hedges. Characters (Except Robots) killed by the flamethrower be on fire and their corpses will become charred.
The Firefighter starts with this item. It can also be found in Chests or Safes, given as a Mission reward, or dropped by Cop Bots.

Tips and Strategies[ | ]
- Despite its short range, its continuous stream of fire is extremely effective against melee enemies, pushing them away from the player while also dealing rapid damage.
- Due to the fact that the flamethrower already pierces enemies regardless of whether you have Penetrating Bullets or not, the flamethrower works well against large groups of enemies.
- This weapon is a great tool for the Cannibal. They are rewarded when their meals are cooked: Cannibalizing charred corpses will give them 4HP per bite rather than only 2HP.
- Hostile NPCs armed with this weapon makes it dangerous to engage in melee against them, since the flames will push the player away from them. It's safer to use ranged weaponry, like other Projectile Weapons, in order to deal damage while being out of the flamethrower's range.
