The Fud Processor is a tool in Streets of Rogue. When used from the inventory, it will consume an item that is combined with it and create a Fud item, using one charge.
Notes[ | ]
- The Fud Processor appears to be coded as a "stack of Fud Processors", rather than as a single item with an ammo count. This means several things:
- The Fud Processor cannot be restocked at an Ammo Dispenser.
- The Fud Processor vanishes once the last charge is consumed, rather than remaining in the inventory with zero charges.
- If a Thief attempts to Pickpocket a player's Fud Processor, they may steal only a few charges (e.g. if the player has 20 charges, the Thief may steal 4 charges and leave the player with 16). The stolen charges become a new "stack of Fud Processors", but are recombined with the player's stack as usual for most items if they are retrieved from the Thief.
- Despite this, the Fud Processor is sold all at once to the Sell-O-Matic, and is bought from shops in batches of 20 charges, rather than each charge being bought and sold individually like with stacked items.
