Holes are a hazardous object and trap in Streets of Rogue. Any NPCs or Items that fall into a hole will disappear forever. Players receive 30 damage instead from falling into it. If a Key or Safe Combination falls into it, the item spawns nearby the player after a short delay. If a Quest Item falls into a hole, you will fail the mission.

- This effect overrides post-death events such as Resurrection and Zombified. NPCs affected by such will still disappear forever if they fall into the hole.
