The Identify Wand is a tool in Streets of Rogue. It can be used to identify the status effect contained in a Syringe. It does not work on Cocktails.

Tips and Strategies

• This item is useless if the character has the trait Drug-a-lug such as Bartenders, Scientists and Investment Bankers or when possessing Drug Dealers. In such cases it is recommended to sell this item at a Sell-O-Matic.
• If for whatever reason the Scientists are not available in the level or are initially hostile to the player due to Scientist Slayer, such as when playing as the Gorilla, then this item can be used as an alternative to testing Syringes on a Air Filtration System, Water Pump or combining it with a Water Pistol.
