The Knife is a common melee weapon with a short range and very fast attack speed. It is the only melee weapon which always uses the stab motion even when not backstabbing. It's commonly wielded by Drug Dealers, Gangsters, Scientists, Thieves, Cannibals and Soldiers. The Knife is the starting weapon for the Crepe and Blahd Gangsters and the Goon.

Tips and Strategies[]
- The Knife is useful in narrow spaces, since it attacks in a straight line. This is especially important with the Wall Walloper trait, since hitting walls will damage your melee weapon and make people angry.
- Don't use the Knife in a group fight - the swing of other melee weapons is better for hitting multiple people at once, which has the benefit of preserving more durability.
- As a common weapon, it's very cheap. As long as your current class can use it, it's usually more valuable as a backup weapon than as money.
- The Knife is considered the second-weakest of all weapons by non-player characters.
