Money       Statistics Item Type: Special Value: $1 Custom Character Points: 5 Custom Character Quantity: 300 Description Primary form of currency in the game. In-Game Tooltip "The root of all evil."

Money is the currency in Streets of Rogue. It only applies to runs, so it won't appear in the Home Base, and any Money will be lost upon restarting. It can be used by all characters in a multitude of ways. Multiple traits are related to money, such as Shrewd Negotiator.

Ways to get/earn money.

	Money drops from most NPCs.
	Borrow money from Clerk or Vendor (Moocher). (This doesn't work in later floors.)
	Items sold at Sell-O-Matic or Portable Sell-O-Matic.
	Safe or Chest loot.
	Trash Can Loot. (Low amount.)
	Kill Profiter (5$ per kill.)
	Winning a Slot Machine. (Costs money to use.)
	Lamp drop. (Cube of Lampey)
	Money earned from winning in the Arena. (Fighting a wrestler with no weapons.)
	Killing Shapeshifters, who drop a large sum of Money. (80-90)
	Killing Ghosts with a Ghost Gibber, also drops money.
	Possible Custom Character starting item.
	Possible Gravestone drop.
	Donating Blood in a Hospital. (up to three times per floor.)
	Being a mobster and mugging people. (Low amount.)

Uses

Money can specifically be spent on:

• Most Vending Machines.
• Use the Jukebox.
• Playing a Slot Machine.
• Toss a coin into a Well, with a chance to give you Feelin' Lucky status effect.
• Spent at a Vendor.
• Bribing someone in a Retrieve Item Mission.
• Items bought from any Character (Requires Art of the Deal).
• Buy Healing from Doctor.
• Pay Scientist to identify a Syringe.
• Buy Theft tools from a Thief (Requires Honor Among Thieves) or Hire a Thief.
• Hire a Hacker.
• Pay off Debt.
• Bribe Bouncers or pay the entrance.
• Bribe Cops or pay a cop debt.
• Hire a Soldier (Only at Military Outposts) or buy things from him (only if the soldier spawns naturally in a Mall).
• Hire a Gangster.
• Pay off mugging Mobsters or pay $500 to increase Electability.
• Hire a Slum Dweller.
• Purchase a Slave.
