The bar fills from from left to right, and must fully reach the end for the action to be completed successfully. The time it takes for the bar to finish can be decreased with the [[Nimble Fingers]] positive [[trait]] and is increased by the [[Poor Hand-Eye Coordination]] negative [[trait]].

Depending on the action being performed, the {{PAGENAME}} will display text regarding the action itself (e.g. ''"Enslaving..."''). When applicable, there is also text above that which indicates what [[character]] or [[object]] the action is being performed upon.

* The '''{{PAGENAME}}''' is sometimes erroneously called the "Action Bar", but this does not match the verbiage used by the game's [[User:Madguy90|developer]], who refers to it as {{PAGENAME}}. Ironically, it is referred to by the in-game tooltips as '''''"(Doing Something)..." bar'''''.
