The Pistol is the most common projectile weapon in Streets of Rogue. It's very fast firing, and cheap to reload as well being a common drop from enemies and NPCs, making it the favored gun of most players, being the standard issue weapon throughout for many characters and runs.
It has good ammo capacity, deals decent damage and is accurate in firing. However it's fired manually and characters with lower firearms attributes will have a slower rate of fire.

Tips and Strategies[ | ]
- Because this weapon is very common. Goons, Office Drones, Clerks, Cops and Supergoons will mostly have them equipped. Making ammo easy to come by.
- Getting Ammo Scavenger trait will help out as well. Causing empty/depleted pistols to give 10 bullets instead of none.
- Characters who have low Firearms attribute such as the Scientist, Hacker or Thief will have a slow fire rate using the Pistol, if the Rate of Fire Mod has been obtained. The slow fire rate will be negated and the pistol will be fired much faster.
