Roller Skates is a trait in Streets of Rogue. It allows the character to travel at quite a fast speed, but movement controls are less responsive and laggy.

The experience of movement with the Roller Skates trait is similar to moving around on frozen-over ponds.

A good way to mitigate the laggy response time is to select an item which slows down the game when it is targetting, and keep it active this way until you reach your destination. This way, you have more time to plan ahead and the faster movement is less disorienting.

Roller Skates +

When upgraded, it becomes Roller Skates +, increasing movemment speed — but the exact amount of increase is unclear.
