'''The Slums''' are the first [[Stages|Stage]] in [[Streets of Rogue Wiki|Streets of Rogue]]. Players will start the game here until they unlock elevators to future Stages.

The Slums are the bottom of the barrel, where the city's poorest citizens are forced to live. In the Slums, things are very standard, with no strong points of interest. It contains large numbers of [[Slum Dweller|Slum Dwellers]], [[Thief|Thieves]] and [[Drug Dealer|Drug Dealers]].

The Slums is the first district the players only start with, this is also the district with the poorest security ever



The first level of the Slums has no [[Cop|Cops]], but they will begin prowling around the area, watching for illegal activity on the second level. The third level will most likely be the first [[Disaster Levels|Disaster Level]] you will experience in a run.
