Speed is an Attribute in Streets of Rogue. Having more points in Speed determines the movement speed of the character (both players and NPCs). Speed Level 1 characters will slowly stroll around the floor, while Speed Level 3 or 4 characters are able run and move much more quickly.

- The Mech suit or Bulky characters are stuck with 1 Speed and it cannot be increased in any circumstances.
Tips and Strategies[ | ]
- With higher Speed attribute, you'll be able to outrun opponents or dodge Bullets (Projectiles) more easily, and catch up to enemies running away from you. Using Sugar or being under the effects of Fast status effect or having I'm Outtie trait will also temporarily increase your movement speed.

There are a number of ways to directly increase/decrease the Speed attribute:

- Ride Mech — Speed Bulky (1)
- Werewolf Transformation — Speed 8
Super Special Abilities[ | ]
- Courier — Roller Skates are even faster
- Cop (as Supercop) — Speed +1
- Goon (as Supergoon) — Speed +1
- Slum Dweller (as Upper-Cruster) — Speed +1
- Werewolf — Speed 10
- Zombie — Speed +2 for all Zombies (not just the Player)
Traits[ | ]
- Roller Skates — Speed is very high, but imprecise and difficult to control
- Quick and Dead — Speed +2 for all Zombies (not just the Player)
