Spread the Love is the Big Quest for the Zombie (and can also be chosen for Custom Characters).
In this quest, you must create a specific number of zombies on every floor throughout your run. You will need to convert roughly 40% [verification/citation needed] of the people on a floor to meet the quest requirements. This can be done with Zombie Phlegm or Zombiism.
Notes[]
- The number of NPCs on each floor increases significantly as the game progresses, meaning that in Downtown and Uptown you will need to zombify a few dozen (or even several dozen) NPCs per floor.
Super Special Ability[]
While playing as the Zombie after completing Spread the Love, with Super Special Abilities (Mutator) enabled:
- All zombies (not just the player) are stronger and faster. (Melee increase only applies if <4 Melee)
- Zombie Phlegm charges quicker and costs no health.
Tips and Strategies[]
- While playing a Zombie can be difficult, you are almost always going to meet the requirements for the quest through normal play. However, it may be very difficult to do so depending on your personal playstyle and experience with the character.
- If other NPCs are fighting, try to hit a few of them with a melee attack so they will reanimate after being killed.
- The zombie party members you have with you at the start of a level will count towards the quest requirements, as well as ones called in through a Friend Phone.
- If you don't mind cheating, this quest is incredibly easy to complete by enabling the mutators of Zombies Ate My Game Balance and Zombies Welcome.
- Generally, it's better to try to zombify weaker NPCs, such as Hackers or Thieves to reduce risk. Attempting to zombify people with higher stats will often result in you taking damage. It's also not reccomended to try to zombify Upper-Crusters, as if they get away they will spawn a highly dangerous Supercop.
