Steal is a type of XP Reward in Streets of Rogue. It is given to the player when they 'steal' something from another person, hence the name. This includes taking from people's refrigerators ... And that's about all it covers. This does NOT include pickpocketing, as that is its own award. Stealing bonus at standard gives 10 XP. With boosts such as Super Studious, this goes up to 15 XP and so on.
Refrigerators are good to loot in the early areas because of the XP award and because there is always a food item inside.
