The Switch is an usable object in Streets of Rogue used only for the completion of the Operate mission. Unlike most usable items, it can be operated through the use of melee weapons, projectile weapons, or disabled with EMP with also counts as pushing the switches.
Some Switches are in some missions will be tinted red/pink and these will be timed with a 20 second countdown. If it reaches zero, you'll fail the mission. Destroying or using EMP on these type of switches will also activate the timer regardless.
Left is a Normal Switch and the Right is a Timed Switch
