Trust Funder is a trait in Streets of Rogue. It gives the player $40 at the start of every level (except level 1-1).

When Trust Funder is upgraded it becomes Trust Funder +. Trust Funder + increases the amount of money awarded to the player from $40 to $80.

Notes

• Similar to Studious and Jack of Extra Trades, it's best to take this trait early in a run to get the most out of it.

Tips and Strategies

• Paying to upgrade this trait is ill-advised. At the cost of $525, even if (presumably as a custom character) you start with this trait and manage to upgrade it on level 1-1 you would only net an extra $75 by the time you reach the Mayor Village. For a non-custom character, you're picking this up en route to 1-2 at earliest and netting an extra $35. The opportunity cost you pay early on greatly outweighs the late-game value of that paltry "boost". If you pay to upgrade this trait on 1-3 or later, you're outright losing money... don't do that.
